Static Excitation Systems: EX600 / EX700
The EX600 and EX700 products are customisable static exciters for retro-fitting into synchronous generators or motors.  They include built-in AVRs.  Two main types are available:
  • Semi-static: The rotating exciters are left in place. 
  • Full static: When the rotating exciters are removed to reduce the maintenance required.
These systems are fully customisable and may be used to revitalise a wide variety of synchronous machines.  They are an excellent way to improve the response time of generators under load and reduce the maintenance requirements of synchronous machines.
