FAQs: Installing Software Key Drivers
If you want to use a software key, you will need to install the software key drivers. This should be carried out automatically when installing PTW, but sometimes it is necessary to install them manually. This is done using the KeyUtility program:
If this fails to work, the drivers can be uninstalled (setupex.exe /u) and installed (setupex.exe) from a DOS prompt.

- Make sure you're logged on with full administrative rights.
- Click on Start>>All Programs>>Power*Tools for Windows>>Key Utility.
- Select CrypKey SoftwareKey, and then click on Go to Key Program.
- Select Load Windows NT/2000/XP software key drivers.
- Click on OK, and follow the on-screen prompts.
If this fails to work, the drivers can be uninstalled (setupex.exe /u) and installed (setupex.exe) from a DOS prompt.
