Advanced Generator Protection: NPG915
The NPG915 relay offers comprehensive generator protection. It includes a harmonic overcurrent function with up to four thresholds, each independently configurable to detect either the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th or 19th harmonic. There are up to 8 ROCOF setpoints which may be linked to a fixed base frequency or track the frequency of CT or VT inputs. This relay is modular and customisable with up to three I/O or communication cards.
Do you also need differential protection for your generator? This relay can be combined in a system with the NPT916 transformer protection relay.
