Overcurrent Protection RMSA7992
The RMSA7992 protects three-phase electrical networks against any kind of short-circuit between phases or between phase and earth.
Operates on a principle of signal sampling and calculates the harmonic spectrum of input currents up to seventh harmonic (Fast Fourier Transform, FFT).
The RMSA7992 is powered directly from the phase CTs and therefore does not require an auxiliary power supply. This feature makes it an ideal retro-fit in older systems although it places a higher burden on the CTs than a standard PROCOM relay.
