Rotor Earth Fault Relays TTE7015 / TTE7017
The purpose of the TTE7015 and TTE7017 is 
to immediately detect any fault on the rotor 
windings of a synchronous machine.
They operate on the current injection principle: 
  • Direct Current for the TTE7015 
  • Low frequency Alternating Current for the TTE7017
The TTE7017 is particularly useful for detecting earth faults without being affected by DC excitation currents which are normally present in the machine rotor windings.
