DC Line Fault Detector: DDL800
The line fault detector DDL800 is designed to protect Direct Current railway, tramway or metro lines.
This selective relay detects faults on the network by analysing the current in catenary wires. It can differentiate between short-circuit currents and normal running currents for rolling stock.
Fast and reliable, it can be connected directly into the trip circuit of a circuit breaker and features an automatic recloser function.
