FAQs: Using a Network hardware key as a Local hardware key
The following procedures apply if you have a red network hardware key but want to use it only on one computer without sharing your PTW license across the network. This might be useful if you are in the process of setting up your business network but want to use PTW straight away. The downside to this procedure is that even if your hardware key would normally permit more than one user, it will not broadcast itself across a network and can therefore be used by only one person at a time (on one specific computer). If instead you would like to allow multiple simultaneous users, consider using one computer as a shared computer and follow the network installation procedure.
